The Celtics Depression

A Story by Abishai100
"

A spirited Celtics (NBA) fan and blogger named Isaac Castle wonders how America will get over the pandemic and endure the quarantine experience which comes without sports dreams!

"
Here's one more lighthearted vignette to help us forget about Coronavirus woes, and it references some jovial Boston Celtics fanfare (NBA) and was inspired by the film Irish JamThanks so much for reading (signing off),

"A Boston Celtics (NBA) fan living in America and hailing from Irish and Algerian parents who immigrated to the USA in the 1980s was preparing for the anticipated 2020 NBA season before the Coronavirus pandemic came, forcing the commissions in sports to cancel all regular season games. This Celtics fan, Isaac Castle, now wondered how he'd spend the NBA season thinking about various Irish fanfare crowds and costumes."

"Isaac grew up watching the Celtics and playing video-games with the Celtics as major players. He was a fan of Nintendo and ESPN and was therefore a 'child' of the modern age. Isaac didn't want the Coronavirus to destroy his faith in Celtics pride and basketball fanfare, but what could or would he do now?"

"Isaac Castle decided to start blogging on the Internet about the social virus endurance prayer value of creating stories and ideas about humanity persevering through the pandemic by thinking fondly of the way humans could huddle together and celebrate the resources of quarantined home life that were available to make this time of tribulation feel less claustrophobic. Isaac Castle began blogging on the Internet about toys and foods and goods that reminded everyone that we could endure this pandemic and therefore became quite a popular virus-consciousness storyteller."

"Isaac Castle decided to post a picture of a green water-gun on one of his blogs and Internet stories/fables about Celtics fans playing in the summertime in their backyard with water-fights because there were no NBA games or media available during the Coronavirus quarantine. This water-gun 'poem' Isaac made on the Internet reminded people that there were adequate substitutes for Celtics fanfare in this time of great quarantine depression."

"Isaac moved into a giant new garden-themed high-rise in Boston with his Celtics cheerleader girlfriend Crystal in the summer of 2020. He continued to write stories on the Internet about the quarantine-time value of home life prayers and how to endure this time when there was no Irish Celtic pride among the masses because of the virus."

"Isaac's girlfriend Crystal was supportive and he was supportive towards her as well. After all, there were no Celtics game this season she could cheer for and there were no Celtics games Isaac could write about on the Internet. Isaac and Crystal would have to think about what made their relationship sexy...without Celtics media."

"The Coronavirus was a modern phenomenon and there were all kinds of funny conspiracy theories about why it arose and who may have made it prominent. However, the quarantine recommendations revolutionized the way people felt grateful about the resources available for home life amenities and how studying and working from home was possible because of Internet platforms. This was therefore a time of great human unification."

"Celtics organization personnel began planning memento broadcasts to present fans with great images and memories of past games and outstanding seasons while everyone waited for the virus to just disappear so life could go on as it had been before the virus destroyed humanity's sense of security."

"An avant-garde Hollywood (USA) film-maker began planning a funny revolution themed movie about a fanatic Chechnyan leader named Ivan and his second-in-command named Pasha who intended to invade America from Canada during the Coronavirus pandemic and punish American vanity and complacency for not properly expressing gratitude about the Internet resources that made quarantine home life possible and secure. This eccentric punisher-oriented revolution sarcasm film, titled The Chechnya Hackers, was directed by Woody Allen and starred Gary Oldman and Tom Hardy and would be broadcast only on YouTube so audiences around the United States could enjoy the story during the quarantine tribulation."

"Isaac and his girlfriend Crystal awaited for the time when the pandemic would pass and Irish Celtics fans could once again flood the stadium and arenas where NBA greatness awaited once more. Isaac decided to purchase a Celtics T-shirt in anticipation of this great day of relief."

"Isaac Castle's blogs caught the attention of a Sinn Fein leader living in the United States named Shawn O'Meara. Shawn decided to ask Isaac to pose in a special mask-and-costume for a fun Internet blog about a Celtics fan in America feeling 'sympathetic' towards Sinn Fein and the IRA during the 'Celtics drought' created by the Coronavirus pandemic. This photo and blog caught the attention of U.S. President Donald Trump who called Isaac Castle the new Don King!"

"Would the Trump Administration be able to manage all the voices of tribulation during this trying time in human history? Would President Trump be able to coordinate the needs of democratic voters with the daily needs of nutrition and healthcare to provide America and the world a systematized form of lifestyle digestion? What would the Celtics fans in Boston find in this dearth of civilization jubilation?"

TRUMP: "We'll survive the Coronavirus. We'll cheer for the Boston Celtics again. We'll remember this time as a moment when we praised the Internet and television for keeping everyone informed and connected and working during a terrible poverty!"
