Spidey & Rhino

A patriotic NYC photojournalist named Terry tracks a super-terrorist named Rhino but when an accident leads to a body-enhancement, Terry ('Spider-Man') pursues Rhino with fury!

Sorry folks, I didn't want to sign-off with a Batman fan-fiction, so here's a Spider-Man (Marvel Comics) fan-fiction instead!

Terry was working as a photojournalist in NYC and pursuing the homegrown American terrorist known as Rhino. Rhino was a bodysuit armored and helmeted elusive sociopath who was abducting prostitutes in New York and forcing them to go on suicide-bombing missions to remind everyone of the media trauma of 9/11. Rhino would persuade these prostitutes to become suicide-bombers by threatening to torture their bodies beyond imagination if they refused to carry out the explosion-death deed. Rhino's prostitute suicide-bombers successfully blew up the Whitney Art Museum, the New York Subway Station, and three bookstore-cafes catering to New York's upper-class. Terry, the protagonist NYC photojournalist of our story who was tracking Rhino, called himself 'Spider-Man' because he had to move around like a spider to track the terrifying Rhino.

However, when Rhino sent one of his prostitute suicide-bombers to blow up a city bus Terry was riding to get to work, a shock that nearly killed him, Terry decided to become a more radical tracker of the villainous Rhino. Terry volunteered his body to the new experimental U.S. government soldier-enhancement research firm in NYC called Oscorp to see if they could alter his half-burned body (from the bus explosion Rhino enacted!) and transform it into an enhanced 'Super-Man' to pursue the terrorist Rhino. Oscorp scientists managed to give Terry a serum that mutated his phenotype, affording his body the super ability to climb walls, defy gravity, exhibit extra-human strength and flexibility, and even contort his flesh to become a humanoid morphing spider-like troll! Terry was now truly a super Spider-Man.

Spider-Man used his psychic power of thought sense, a side-effect of the Oscorp serum, to track one of Rhino's newest prostitute suicide-bombers to the Little Italy ethnic market area of New York, where often mafia members strolled, and nabbed her using his Oscorp designed wrist-shot sticky super-strong metallic rayon 'cobwebs' and forced her to tell him the whereabouts of Rhino's secret lair. Rhino was hiding in the New York sewer tunnels beneath the Manhattan Library. Spider-Man snuck in like the super-spider he was now, tied up Rhino with his wrist-shot 'cobwebs' after wrestling Rhino against the sewer tunnel walls, and hauled him to the FBI. Afterwards, Rhino defiantly claimed he was an 'anti-9/11 martyr' who simply hated Spider-Man (Terry), but the heroic Spider-Man (Terry) knew Rhino had been manholed finally and forever!
