Livewire: Batman (Fan-Fiction)A Story by Abishai100Livewire (Leslie Willis) intends to draw Batman into a terrible power-station battle in Gotham City on Devil's Night, creating anarchy with electrical intentional design!
One last ode to my love of Batman (DC Comics) storyboarding, and this fun fan-fiction involves the offbeat but highly-insane Gotham City villainness Livewire (Leslie Willis).
Thanks so much (signing off), ==== Livewire was once the sardonic American radio-DJ Leslie Willis. Leslie used to make all sorts of venomous comments about the superficial quality of superheroes and once labeled Batman, the pensive masked superhero-vigilante of Gotham City, as a simple 'psychiatrist-turned-crusader' and even attained quite a radio-audience fanfare for her anti-establishment remarks. However, when a public radio-community stage theatrical political event in D.C. during a thunder-and-lightning storm led to a freak accident involving Batman accidentally pushing Leslie towards a ripped charged wire struck by lightning during a shockingly dangerous crowd riot, the otherwise politically shrew Leslie Willis was altered spiritually and became the super-villainness Livewire. Livewire has a completely altered body composition because of the intense electric charge from the wire-lightning accident in D.C. and is afforded the power to manipulate electric fields to her evil advantage. Livewire has blue hair, which symbolizes her will to make things bizarre even or especially in times of great social mobilization such as the Los Angeles Race Riots. She's not unwilling to use electricity to make public fiascos and is intrigued by the power of shock as a vehicle for Earth transformation. After all, the electric-shock incident on stage in D.C. involving Batman effectively transformed her body into a 'shell' for charge-distribution and made her a 'diplomat' of anarchy. Since Livewire wishes to be an agent of anarchy and Devil's Night, the customary evening before Halloween Eve which falls on October draws her towards a truly demonic deed of Gotham City power-grid subversion. You see, Livewire believes electricity is a tool available to her as a magical power of infinite terrorism. Since Devil's Night has traditionally been an evening of pre-Halloween ritualized urban mischief and graffiti, Livewire is seeking to create some city-wide power-grid shock to draw in Batman to a televised battle. She does blame Batman, the dark knight, after all, for mutating her body and 'converting' her into a 'fallen angel' of power! So, Leslie Willis (Livewire) shows up at the Gotham Power Station with a hijacked TV news-crew and waits for Batman to arrive. She'd already used her devious electrical powers to shut off power to half the city and seeks to draw in Batman to a humiliating public event! However, when the dark knight shows up, he's not impressed by Livewire's outrageous sense of false bravado and terrorism and uses his rope-gun to tie up her feet, making it difficult for her to unleash more of her electric carnage! Batman then turns to the TV camera and says, "I detain Livewire not for her own consolation only but primely for the Christian benefit of Gotham City residents who dread seeing Devil's Night become a day of ominous deformity!" ==== "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled" (Matthew 5) © 2020 Abishai100 |
