Brothers of Romania: Vampire-HeartA Story by Abishai100Two half-brothers stalk evil vampires in 2020 Romania and may compete for the affections of a gorgeous gypsy named Esmerelda.I felt uncomfy signing off with an adult-oriented story, so here's a vampire-tale I've been working on thematically for a long time now (since 2004). I really hope you like it; it was inspired by the film Blade (Stephen Dorff, Wesley Snipes). Thanks for reading (signing off), ==== Alastair and Alas were real-life vampire-hunters living in Romania in the year 2020. They were half-brothers born of different fathers and quite different in personality and views on fighting. Alastair's father was German, and Alas' father was Algerian, but their shared mother was Sicilian (Italian). Alastair and Alas looked quite different too in appearance. Alastair wore an eyepatch and had matted brown hair. Alas often wore hats and had sometimes dreadlocked short dark-black hair and sometimes spiky hair. Alas almost always wore sunglasses, and when his brother Alas joked that he was going to lose his sun-vision, Alas would retort that Alastair would always only see half the sunshine, since he had to wear an eyepatch. Regardless of their stark differences, these two unusual vampire-hunters in Romania had one common goal --- to work side-by-side to hunt down and destroy Romania's lethal underground modern cult of bloodsucking vampires who happened to be perfect crime-conspirators. Alastair and Alas were not daunted and became the perfect pair of vampire-destroyers. {Alastair & Alas} Alastair and Alas wielded a set of very intricately-designed vampire-killing weapons, crafted by a master weapons-maker in Europe named Merlin the Wizard! Alastair and Alas carried these fancy and dangerous weapons with pride as they roamed around Romania by night, sometimes on bicycles, searching for cloaked vampires seeking to make anarchy on Earth. Alastair and Alas wielded cross-rifles, cross-bows, knife-launchers, tranquilizers, garlic-sprays, and acid-containing handguns. Most of their weapons were fitted with blade-like extensions and target-scopes. Alastair and Alas considered their weapons-set the treasures of light in the fight against the darkness of the modern world! The vampires they hunted with these weapons were relentless, so naturally, their weapons needed to be not only fancy but also highly-effective. This was real-world wizardry, and Alastair and Alas were perfect shots, ideal assassins. It was the weapons that made them great! {Vampire-Killing Weapons} The vampires Alastair and Alas hunted were no joke. They never played. These vampires mingled with the aristocracy of Europe who were involved in criminal political corruption and often sought luxurious and sinful refuge in Romania! These vampires were involved in narcotics-trafficking, black-market munitions supplies to anti-capitalism terrorist groups such as Cobra and ISIS, and of course random acts of blood-quenching serial-killings. These vampires rampantly killed tourists, pedestrians, citizens, priests, students, and of course, anyone who dared cross them. Alastair and Alas engaged these evil vampires by simply staring them in the eye and never hesitating to shoot them square in the head or in places in the body that would immediately if temporarily disarm or disorient them. These vampires were swift and could sometimes move very very fast, so Alastair and Alas relied on their targeting skills to make sure their kill-shots and maneuvers were anything but clumsy. These vampires were not going to be wrestled to the ground after a long engagement and therefore had to be 'manhandled' and subverted. There was no other way to stop their reign over darkness and Romanian crime. Alastair and Alas secretly feared these 'creatures' of the night. {Vampires of Romania} Alastair and Alas sometimes dreaded the dark vision of a futuristic sin-ridden Romania that the vampires had envisioned and were building with the help of corrupt politicians and druglords. The dark city that these vampires of Romania would construct would usurp any imagining of a terrible post-apocalyptic evil city described by various paranoia-writers in the history of storytelling, such as Orwell and Proyas! Alastair and Alas wanted to be sure that the vision of the 'dark city' these vampires were forwarding would never be realized. This vision would have to be destroyed. Fortunately, Alastair and Alas always made sure their personal and psychological differences in fighting never interfered with their necessary teamwork in ridding the Earth of these sinful humanoid creatures. Alastair and Alas were therefore, in a way, defenders of the democratic vision of a city that would never ever become dark and uninviting. {Dark City Visions} Alastair and Alas met a beautiful gypsy woman in Romania named Esmerelda who hypnotized them both. They were equally enraptured by her stunning looks. They wondered who could win her complete affections, especially since she seemed to like them both and treated them both with reverence and respect. You see, Romanians were simply shuddering because of the terrible influence of the sinister vampires Alastair and Alas continued to hunt. Esmerelda was one such 'damsel' who revered the way these two modern-day offbeat/eccentric warriors chased down the vampires who made life a living hell. Alastair and Alas hoped their enchantment by Esmerelda would not drive a Satanic stake through their brotherhood. Who would ultimately win her hand? {Esmerelda} ALASTAIR: Esmerelda will adore the gold jewelry I possess. ALAS: She might appreciate the rare gorgeous Obsidian rocks I possess! ALASTAIR: Your Obsidian rocks are mere childish toys. ALAS: No; they represent the beauty of the night! ALASTAIR: My gold jewelry is something Esmerelda will find useful. ALAS: No; my Obsidian rocks will enchant her and remind her of heaven! ALASTAIR: You're too romantic, brother. ALAS: You're too worldly, Alastair. ALASTAIR: Well, if we destroy all vampires, maybe your Obsidian will be valued. ALAS: Maybe... ==== © 2020 Abishai100 |
