A clever American high-school student attending a Model UN student-conference in New York decides to use his Christian Bible knowledge to interest an attractive female Catholic student.

"
As students from around the country gathered at the United Nations in New York for a special Model UN student-conference about women in the global workforce, a precocious American Christian/Catholic high-school student named Evans who was attending the conference decided to use the event as a unique opportunity to interest female Christian/Catholic students using his knowledge about the Bible. Evans took a copy of the Bible to the conference and dressed in a shirt-and-tie and jacket and got a clean haircut and was eager to entreat young women with his thorough knowledge of Christian scripture. Evans wanted to use the Model UN conference to learn something about social networking, religion/spirituality, and hopefully, about himself.

Evans was not a typical American high-school student. At the age of 11, he read the entire Christian Bible and decided he wanted to become some kind of missionary. However, Evans also realized he was very interested in the opposite sex and wanted to meet a great Christian/Catholic girl who'd match his spiritual interests! Evans enjoyed talking to animals, or at least he believed he had the ability to 'speak' to animals, and he sometimes elocuted Christian proverbs to squirrels, cats, dogs, and birds! Evans was a real American eccentric, and his interest in religion just accented his eccentricity. Evans himself wondered how his personal eccentricity would complement his strange investment in this Model UN conference in New York and how he'd use his interest in religion to approach attractive Christian/Catholic females attending the conference. Therefore, Evans was sure to look very sharp for this momentous high-school experience.

As luck would have it, Evans did in fact meet a very attractive Catholic high-school student at the Model UN conference in New York. She was Theresa Randall, a student at Bishop Catholic high-school in Maine. She was an attractive brunette with an outgoing personality and a sincere interest in Christian scripture and dogma. She'd be a right match for the precocious Evans, and if Evans played his cards right, he might come across as a religion-educated intelligent young man, the sort of eccentric that just might appeal to Theresa's brand of mature Christian curiosity. Theresa and her fellow Bishop Catholic students attended the Model UN conference in their signature sharp dark-green school-uniforms, and Evans was relieved he'd shown up to the conference clean-cut and dressed sharply, so he could approach Theresa Randall with the correct/appealing dose of maturity and wit.

EVANS: You're a very attractive student.
THERESA: Thanks; you look sharp at this conference.
EVANS: Are you a big fan of the United Nations?
THERESA: I like Bishop Catholic's participation at these types of events!
EVANS: Well, I appreciate how these conferences invite Catholic high-schools.
THERESA: Yes, Bishop Catholic has a rich tradition of Model UN conferences.
EVANS: So does my high-school; I'm glad I met you, Theresa.
THERESA: I guess I'm pleased I've met you too, Evans!
EVANS: Are you versed in the Christian Bible?
THERESA: Hey, I'm from Catholic school, so...of course.
EVANS: So am I.
THERESA: Are you from a Catholic school?
EVANS: No; I'm just dressed sharply to make a good impression.
THERESA: So you go to a public school?
EVANS: That's correct.
THERESA: So you're a fan of Christian education?
EVANS: Yes, I think students today benefit from religious scriptures.
THERESA: Yeah, American students are considered shallow, but actually we do study.
EVANS: Sure; Christian scripture is solid education!
THERESA: I have the funny feeling you're approaching me not just for Christian chat.
EVANS: Right; I found you attractive, and I'm looking for a Catholic girl to match my religious hobbies.
THERESA: So what draws you to the Model UN conference in New York, Evans?
EVANS: I'm fascinated by socioreligious impacts on views on women in the workforce worldwide!
THERESA: That's really what the core of this conference concerns, no?
EVANS: Sure; I appreciate what the Book of Ruth has to offer for discussions at this conference.
THERESA: Wow, I like Book of Ruth too; in fact, that's what I studied/prepped for the conference.
EVANS: Maybe we should share ideas over lunch...at the cafeteria?
THERESA: Alright; there's also a coffee shop across the street; you could buy me coffee!
EVANS: I'd really like to do that, Theresa; who knows, we might learn something about romance.
THERESA: Romance?
EVANS: Sure; students find romance in everyday scenarios while engaged in educational outings.
THERESA: Hmmm...
EVANS: Look, if I turn out to be a psycho, you can tell your girlfriends you thought I was a good Catholic.
THERESA: Haha, well for what it's worth, it doesn't seem you're too much of a psycho.
EVANS: Cool; I have a feeling I'll be reading Bible passages to you while entreating your femininity.
THERESA: Well, we'll see, Evans; I admit, I feel a bit fresh.

Evans and Theresa continued to hit it off while bouncing ideas off each other at the Model UN conference. They both found relevant symbolic passages from the Book of Ruth to cite at their conference committee rooms and discovered they had more in common than they originally imagined! Evans and Theresa decided to keep in touch with each other after the conference. Theresa gave Evans her phone number! Was this the beginning of an intriguing and stimulating spiritual courtship between two intelligent American high-school students? The world was their oyster, so really, anything was possible. Evans really wanted to evaluate if his interests in religion would culminate in the meeting of a smart and attractive like-minded Christian young woman, a girl like Theresa. Would Evans be more grateful than he thought about deciding to attend the Model UN conference in New York that year? Theresa was sure Evans was a gem and not some kind of talking psycho...
