Love cannot exist for death CHOICE COLLECTION POEMA Poem by Abigail Shellclass poemLove
cannot exist for death She
sits shivering under a thin blanket Cold
to the flesh and silently alone The
sun withdraws under hues of crimson and gold Looking
up at the stars she realizes her fate The
cold bite to the air will eventually consume Everything
in the world she knew The
black of the sky will swallow her She
opens her arms welcoming death He
sneaks up in the silence of night Embracing
her with a passionate kiss As
her last breath escapes her lips He
steals off into the night Taking
her essence with him He
must find love to ignite with a kiss But
is cursed to roam Looking
for something that does not exist © 2014 Abigail ShellAuthor's Note
