Do you remember that night when I stayed up until I could see the sun,

And I cried all day from exhaust? I had a plan that night actually -

I planned on killing myself that night.

Do you remember that cold December night when I sat on the couch

for a good hour and didn't move a single muscle? You said I looked

depressed, well truth is I was and I had another plan that night -

Do you remember when I wore long sleeves in the summer?

You would ask why and I would just reply “I'm cold.”

I wasn't cold truthfully, I was just covering up scars

From a failed plan I had one night.

I planned a lot and I failed a lot, I was always too afraid.

Not of the pain it would cause, but of the people I would leave.
