Now Nothing is the Same

Now Nothing is the Same

A Poem by WelshWinds
"

Just about how the world is changing.

"

I glance away,

Watching as all the branches bend and sway.

Voices call to me from afar,

But all I know is that I’ve run away,

I’ve run away too far.

Skies turn black as the heart begins to break.

Making the light crack, and all the earth begin to quake.

Stars fall down, streaking the sky with their pain;

I look down and see the blood drip,

Now nothing is the same.

I never cared that the winds always blew.

I never worried so long as I had you.

But now that’s changed,

And the angels begin to cry,

Now nothing is the same.

In this world that once was so beautiful,

The darkness swells and swallows.

In the time that love was the only emotion,

Now the world just wallows.

Everything has changed.

Now nothing is the same.
