You, My Fear!

Just me and my buddy

You ask me to smile at the sky,

While making me cry.

You step over and over me, 

Not caring whether I'm grown or a child.

Everything you do, you try to hide,

Yet you are bound to me, forever by my side.

You try to fill up all my vacant space 

As I try to look anything past your face.

You seek comfort in my fear, 

When I covert, 

You profoundly cheer. 

How pathetic it is to think,

To hush my voice and allow me to shrink.

You enjoy indulging in my nightmares,

But eventually be the one to wipe all my tears, 

You, my fear.

I see that you have made a friend request from me but I am of course wondering why as I do not see that you have read any of my posts?
I decided to read one of yours and I am not sure what sort of form you were using? i see some rhyme hear and there, for example.... space ~ face and, fear ~ cheer... but then in your final verse I do not see any rhyme?
I did enjoy the read.
If you have not read any of mine I do think you might like GONE or Forevermore...
Just reread your poem....fear can be such a terrible thing and I do believe you have felt it...Interesting to think that Fear can wipe away your tears...
