Your BetrayalA Poem by The Tabby KittehIn the end, when I needed you the most you betrayed me. I hate you forevermore for this.Your Betrayal You betrayed me, I know you did, Did you think me naive, Or did you think you could play me and continuously kid. Am I going insane, My thoughts are boiling and stirring in my brain, There is no hope for another embrace, You left me without a single trace. You shall pay the price for your betrayal, My heart is pounding as I say the final goodbye, You said our friendship would last forever, Now there is no hope left. My fairy flew away, I wanted so desperately for her to stay, Those three words I could never say, Not even on that last, final day. The universe gave me something too good to be true, Something so pure and innocent, Turned sour and vile, Your hug soaked my soul in flaming warmth. Now I am here needing someone, And you are NOwhere to be found, No wonder you are without a daughter and a son, You are not a completely good soul with your irrational anger and hurtful lies and loud sounds. You lit my flame, I lit yours, Those three words I couldn't say, My heart is pounding as I dance in your flame. How could you use me, When you knew my past, Don't you know of my pain can't you see, I know I was never your first, and always your chew toy that you could just so easily cast. Who did you think you were? When you gave me that final embrace? © 2013 The Tabby KittehReviews
