My Life is...

My Life is...

A Poem by Abhishek Ram
"

My life is many things yet one. My life is made of many things yet it is a mixture of all into one.

"

My life is like a kitchen that is blessed,

Full of ingredients and full of meals,

But they get mixed together, and I cannot tell,

what is and isn't real,

And then a rings a bell, a bell that reminds me,

My life is a mess.

My life is like one of the world's religions,

Full of traditions and facts and thoughts,

But as time passes, things change, evolve, no real pattern can be found or caught,

My life is full of confusion.

My life is like a group of toys (like a paper plane),

Full of fun things to and play,

But then you step on a Lego,

or trip over a stuffed animal every day,

My life causes me a lot of pain.

My life is like a slaughterhouse,

A confusing mess built on hurt,

But it brings food before dessert,

Maybe I shouldn't grouse...

I should take my life the way it is,

Maybe my situations I should not diss,

Maybe I should fight to make it better,

Instead of hiding away as I quietly spell

every letter?

My life like a Heaven away from home,

Sometimes I do miss the old days,

But soon I'll become accustomed to it

anyways,

And see how great life is when the light is shone.
