Spring Ended Their GloomA Poem by Abhishek RamGloom died when life began to rise (I tried to write it in iambic heptameter with a different rhyme scheme than most couplet poetry, just trying it out :) )He was a broken record, Forced to repeat himself. She was a wild, loose cannon, Memories on the top shelf. He wanted someone fickle, He wanted change in his life. She lived on the steep edge, She wanted to be a wife. They found each other one spring day, Watching the seeds of life bloom And then their love became real, And so ended their deep gloom. © 2015 Abhishek Ram |
