Society grows as the future becomes the present day,

New ideas are born as old ones decay,

So why cannot this new idea be accepted at all?

Why must it be virtually ignored as the old one still stands tall?

Why cannot we accept the truth about our environment?

That it is failing in all aspects, slowly but surely?

We must curb these issues, keep the problems in containment,

We must solve this issue before we die off slowly.

The highest CO2 levels in Earth’s history are since May 2013,

And they still continue to rise as the 21st century goes through its teens,

But what exactly does high levels of carbon dioxide mean?

It means greater pollution, making the environment less clean.

Greater CO2 levels ruins the atmospheric gases ratio we breathe in,

That makes it tougher for the world to breathe,

For example, the people of Mumbai inhale gases equivalent to that of a chainsmoker’s everyday,

Does this fact make you cringe? Do you realize not everything is what it seems? Do you understand what I have to say?

We need change now.

Change that must come in several forms.

This is what must occur:

One is energy creation, the heavy cause of the higher carbon dioxide levels,

Combusting gasoline will only go so far in world energy endeavours,

Renewable energy should be used instead, I agree strongly in my head,

Stop using gasoline before the Earth hit’s the dirt bed.

Another is energy saving, and this can be done many ways,

By improving edificial construction so less heat is lost,

Or by improving heat conversion systems we use everyday,

All these ideas could be used, but they certainly should not be tossed.

By reducing heat loss, less energy need be used to heat one’s home, so less energy will be needed evermore, so less gasoline need be combusted for sure.

Accept these new ideas, start using these suggestions, so we may survive,

So the world doesn’t die, so that new ideas may continue to arrive,

To protect society in so many ways, to protect us from any end of days,

And come up with your own, so that even after we manage to stay alive.
