Laurel to Humanity

Laurel to Humanity

A Story by Abhishek Pahuja

I recall when our train arrived at the station. The coach which would going to welcome us, confronted a strong hustle of people, nearly twenty to thirty, who wanted to enter through and exit from the same gate of the coach. In the middle of the hustle and bustle, some eight to ten people, carrying a stretcher with a lying person, came near to coach. The hitherto race fot entering first came to an halt and all gave them way. The entire scenario was a laurel to humanity. 😊

“Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive."- Dalai Lama

We all have some or other experience in our life but we usually don't share them, may be due to some hesitation or reluctance or lack of time. I truly respect this experience as it promotes the ethical human values to the society. The choices of words are very well and altogether it is eloquent.
May Humanity last till doomsday.

"Laurel to Humanity"
Abhishek Pahuja,
This carries the fast moving and sometimes what seems a unnecessary blast of activity until humanity is faced with someone who is done with life and it's endeavors. It is always interesting to read a personal experience narrative such as yours. Were you going somewhere in particular. Was it in the city or small town; maybe country. Was it a holiday or weekend? Were you with someone? This little story is fun.
Blessings,
Kathy
