Toes in the sand

Just a song inspired a contest's name. So this is a beach song(The funny thing is that I have never been to one). So Anyone who reads this please judge my imagination.

Toes in the Sand

Everyone's going down to the beach,

taking a little happiness with each,

And when I see them all I can do

Is think about you.

 

I see the sun shining on your face,

making my world glow brighter,

I see the waves touching your feet,

You carry me up higher.

 

Nothing can be wrong

about you,

This is a love song,

for you.

 

We walk hand in hand,

with each,

got my toes in the sand,

with you peach.

 

And I just feel my heart,

taking a fall,

And  I just know this ain't over

at all.

 

So please Babe,

join me ,

I'm waiting for you,

right here.

Babe! Love is all around you. While reading this poem i feel like a girl again who is encountering Love for the first time. You know that sweet sensation of missing someone and the yearn to hold his/her hand. The unceasing beaming smile as you think of him and walk down the street.

A very good and imaginative Piece you have here Abby2m. Although you state that you haven't been to a beach ever before, you have make some accurate descriptions which allows the readers to clearly visualize the scene. Your rhyming is very good, (better than me anyway), but somehow I felt that there's a lack of maturity in this. That will come, don't worry, and you will prove to be a great composer.
