Irony of a poet

Irony of a poet

A Poem by Abhay Tyagi
"

This poem touches upon the tragedy of those poets who were never able to share their writings with the world.

"
The decrepit anthology, a soul being laid bare on its pages,
lies forsaken in so cruel a manner;
the soulful tune of unread verses reverberating
in its material.

But the poet shall waste away in want of appreciation;
and in great irony,
be immortalized for centuries thereafter.
