Happiness.

A Chapter by Abeer Tarek

Happiness.

"The tiniest thing you can think of can make me the happiest, I appreciate many things and I love that about myself. A simple Hello from someone I love, a new song released by a singer I love or a cuddle given to me by someone I love, I swear to God those little things make me appreciate life, they make me grateful for being alive. Loneliness makes me happy, being alone in my balcony staring at the stars with this cold air against my chest makes me happy; but then again sometimes it's just too much, too much to handle, I know others have it worse than me, others don't have the simple things that are making me happy, however selfishness controls me; I am happy, but as a human being I just want more, I want greater things, I want to feel greater emotions, sometimes happiness is just not enough, because I can't possibly be happy all day every day in this cruel world, but I try to be, because happiness means I'm strong enough to face all the bullshit in this world, and again; I like people to see me strong."
