The Odyssey of Life

Life is not smooth. We have to encounter many obstacles. Sometimes they knock you down. It depends upon us whether to get back up or fret over our loss. This is exactly what this poem reflects.

The journey of life is many a time tough,

Especially when challenges come and engulf.

We must realize that life is not smooth,

And it is something which we cannot choose.

Running through it may be a race,

In which we have to put up a strong face, 

Learn that we have to fight,

And overcome the challenge with all our might.

Problems are a part of the journey of life,

At times, they may cut you more sharply than a knife.

You have no idea why,

One goes and another comes by.

We must not back down,

And treat them with a frown.

Instead , we must combat them with all our might,      

And sense that victory is in our sight.

So, if it is difficulties that we want to cross,

We must try not to lament over our loss.

Instead, have faith in the Almighty,

Because the scenario of him not listening to us is highly unlikely.

This just came to my mind. So, I thought to make a poem on it.

Very true poem, about the roadways of life. There are skids down a road, bumps into trees, and even the occasional plunge down a waterfall, but it just means that it's giving you another chance to get back up and show the world you're not about to back down.
