I Wish!

This poem is about the dismal state of environment in the present day and the aspirations of a nature loving child.

I wish I could be an Eco warrior,

Breaking the record barrier,

By taking recycling to its peak,

And preventing about to be hunted species shriek.

Stopping innocent animals being brutally killed,

With 'Stop Animal Abuse' mentality drilled,

This should partially help conserve nature,

And boost the chances of a better future.

By cutting tress ruthlessly,

And living our lives mercilessly.

We are taking everything for granted,

And ignoring the need for trees to be planted.

The temperatures are unusually on the rise,

The time is arriving for man's regretful cries.

I will try to reduce pollution,

By finding an effective solution.

I hope to return the gifts of nature,

By helping it partially regain it's previous stature.

Global Warming is taking it's toll,

We have no one to blame; We have contributed to our own DOWNFALL!

I can see the raw nature of this poem, which both bad and good. Bad as it at times sounds odd and good because it brings out the potential.
