THE ABDUL PROJECT TRUST

I am Abdul-Rahaman Nurudeen from Ghana in West Africa.I live in the northern part of Ghana called Wa in the upper west region.I am from two regions in the north of Ghana and that is Wa which is my fathers land
and Tamale my mums land.I started my schooling in Wa and went to Tamale 2002 to enter into Senior high school.I completed Ghana Secondary school in the year 2005 that is in Tamale.Part of my family are in Tamale especially my mum side and part in Wa that is my fathers side.We
Northerners belong to our fathers side so i am from Wa and that is why i choose to serve in Wa.I completed St john Boscos teacher training college ,Navrongo in the year 2009 and i was posted to the Da e yiri primary school as the head teacher by the Wa west education office under the Ghana Education service. My school is named After the community the School is and that is Da e yiri. The people in this community are lobis and they speak birfo as their dialect.

We are two teachers in the school and i have class one
to class six with about 300 students in the school. The people in this community are farmers. You can see pictures of the Community and the School.I am also the head teacher of this school and the only trained teacher of the school.

Through the Efforts of Mr Charlie Grapski and Debby Strickland, a company led by Mr Kenneth Campbell has been supporting my School with Educational supplies and given me lessons on modern approaches to teaching and
learning which has helped a lot in comprehensive teaching and learning in the School.

Most of the Children were lacking basic educational facilities but with our relationship with Great leaps reading company in Gainesville Florida, these problems are now something of the past.We have both reading and
writing materials which has led to an increase in the students enrollment. We
Still make an appeal to other groups to come to our aid because there are several others that we lack also for instance like the human resources which is teachers etc.

We will be glad if we could get Volunteers to come and help teach this school and share good Culture with us here in Ghana. So i make an appeal to Universities and other groups to help get as volunteers to come and teach the young ones. You can contact me direct with this email [email protected]

As a teacher i have seen that there is the need to upgrade myself so that i will be add in Knowledge, more experience to handle my students and also become the best teacher i want to be.

So because of this reason i have thought furthering my education to the University so that i could study a Bachelor degree in education since my qualification for now is Diploma in Basic education.I also thought of studying law because i have observe that a lot of people in the society face a lot of injustices simply because they are poor and don't know their rights as citizens
of Ghana.I want to fight for this people and educate them on the law and also try to straighten the ways of this law enforcers and the interpreters of the law.

I am highly motivated by the what great people who have past away fought to get independence and also helped to raise young ones who grew up to be great people in this world.
I have farm to help myself right from primary school till college. That is where i had my income to help sponsor myself whiles in school.

A friend from Australia Called Julie Didlick has been supporting us especial with my dream of upgrading myself. She has helped me apply a school called
Southern cross university and i have been given an offer to study Bachelor of Education degree.

For now I have been asked by the school in Australia to apply for a visa, and Mr Kenneth has helped with a thousand Dollars which is enough to cover the cost of
the Visa application which i am in the process of getting now.

You can click the links above which new image that is my college results, and nurudeenAbdul-rahaman offer to seethe offer letter from southern cross university.

The fees and every thing is in the offer letter.

I am therefore making an appeal to all persons, groups and organizations to help me further my education with donations as little donations can make a difference to support me to be able to embark on the Journey to

Australia to upgrade my self as a teacher and hence realize my dream of becoming
the best teacher and Minister of Education as Mr Kenneth of Great leaps dream
that i became the education minister of Ghana.

Hi Abdul - it is great to see this site up.
Friends new and old of Abdul - help this young man who has so much initiative to come to Australia to gain a degree in education so as to further help his people and himself. And that is just the beginning as he wants to go on to do law so as to further give much to his countrymen.
The SCUni has never had a sponsored student before and it is all of you who can make this happen. This is the beginning of the story - be a part of it.
Every donation helps so thank you in anticipation for the adventure in your hearts.
