Jilted Love

Jilted Love

A Poem by Abbylevy

Where did I go wrong?

Please help me to see.

What happened to your feelings?

Your feelings towards me.

It burns within mine heart,

When I remember our love notes.

But were yours really, really true?

Or inconsiderate jotes?

The tables turn so quickly,

That I can hardly believe!

I was once your bright and morning star.

But now I am left to grieve.

Heartbroken I am,

Because of your game,

You played with mine heart,

Then set it a flame.

Can I really love again?

I ask myself sometimes.

I really dont know the answer,

I'm tired of hearing my cries.

I'll never love anyone,

The way that I loved you.

I gave you my heart,

But u pout a hole through.

I was naive,

I must admit.

To not have seen your plan,

Was to use me a bit.

Now life goes on,

(With or wiuthout you)

I have set some personal goals,

And one of them, is to forget I knew you!
