One Night Stand

One Night Stand

A Poem by Abbylevy

Your eyes burned through,

My fragile soul.

And I saw reflected in them,

The thoughts I tried to withold.

"What are you thinking?"

you always ask.

And I smile and look away,

To avoid your daunting task.

But the truth is...

We were both vulnerable,

In each other's arms.

As though we were under a spell,

...One i would never want to end.

It scared me at first,

(That I must admit)

But soon you won me over,

And my sense of reason went down the bottomless pit.

Our kisses ignited,

My dying flame within.

And running through my veins,

Were feelings whose light i had thought had gone dim.

Each touch,

Each stroke,

And each caressing lick,

Fueled my fiery arousal which you had lit.

Soon... we are both saturated,

Climbing down from our sexual high,

Which our sex elicited.

...Ended too soon...sigh...
