Atlas

Atlas

A Poem by indiscreetis
"

A condensed version of lyrics I wrote for an old band collaborative.

"
The trails are burning up
On the map we drew together
Your eyes have glimpsed the sunrise
On the mountain side.

Fold the page and bend the weeds,
Make sure to save the inbetweens,
And always share the space in which you sleep.

Mark the atlas, but mind your words.
Keep your balance to get there first.
Don't let the sadness ruin your hard work.

Back and forth between the sheets,
Just to keep on moving your feet
Even if it's only in your dreams.

But wait and see where we find ourselves.
