Everything is not AllA Poem by Abigale LeCavalierEverything is not All The laugh of a child who has everything, and wants more. Biting his lip for the taste of blood. Reasoning; “everything is not all.” And he hides a mason jar of tears under his bed, next to the high heel shoe he stole from his mothers closet. And at night when the moon hangs in slivers, he is 4 inches taller, scooting his heal to the back worn leather of mommies missing magenta footwear. He likes what he sees in the yellow light, but he doesn’t like, what he feels. © 2010 Abigale LeCavalier |
