StarlightA Poem by Abigale LeCavalierStarlight
Bringing down mountains just as subtle, as standing in small spaces.
There is oil in the reeds, and on the duck, and under the dock just over the hill.
Wet is replaced by stick; rimming a margarita glass with more than just sand and salt.
And the smell comes with the breeze offshore, bringing water to the eyes.
Reminiscent of starlight. © 2010 Abigale LeCavalier |
