Every Part of Me
A Poem by
Abigale LeCavalier
Every Part of Me
It was a matter of trust
I figure,
he had my bra
in his hand.
Almost spontaneous
as something so well planned
can be.
And his mouth found
every part of me,
parts that I didn’t think
worked anymore.
His odor is still thick
in the air,
in my mind,
though he left hours ago.
And I’ve finally got the smile
off my face,
because I’m worried.
And I’m scared.
That his smell
will be the last
thing I remember.
And the first thing
he forgets.

This was a bit different than your other poems but I enjoyed the richness of your poem. The experience in this poem was an experience that this reader felt envious as it there is such a beautiful experience and so well told.

serious jazz snaps.
this thing moves as fast as the brain when after the sex smoke clears and regret punches you right in the temple.
Its all good until the feeling of self respect kicks in then the mind recoils in horror.
Good read. fast and real

Well written. The question is will the scent
blow away in the breeze of forgetfulness?
Nicely done...

It;s nice. i'm just thankful it wasn't Adult oriented! ^-^ That his smell
will be the last
thing I remember.
And the first thing
he forgets.
And this preety much sums it up. Was it really love? or just something he wanted and then forget all about you? Nice work here! :)

I love how this poem isn't like others like it.Usually when people talk about their first time they're saying they regret it or they describe the actually "doing" but you actually enter your/someones mind ...I loved it
