BreathA Poem by Abigale LeCavalierBreath
An introduction; almost as good as asphyxiation.
It’s the air that escapes with a hum or a hiss, a whistle through the teeth, or lack there of.
All the polish and cherry flavored gloss wont hide the scotch swallowed moments ago.
Even worse, a cigarette.
They're not blind to the plight.
Just choose to ignore it.
Slipping down into a comfortable seat; it is no longer possible to stand.
Leaving breath behind, and identity. © 2010 Abigale LeCavalier |
