100 Times

100 Times

A Poem by Abigale LeCavalier

100 Times

Rattled with
dire emotions,
the wolf
and the bull,
blistering the brain.

Setting in motion
the making of plans,
escalating events,
to a conclusion
most undesirable.

Yet desirable.

And there are many
ways to do things.

The process started,
while riding the bus,
from First Street,
downtown.

Making the bed,
so the corners
fit just rite,
making sure
everything,
is in its place.

And lucky
the phone rang.

It's that voice,
that saved me
100 times.

So I woke up this morning,
when it was my intention,
not too.

I like how you broke up the stanzas, it really worked for this poem. This also flowed nicely, great job! :-)
