Wonderland

Wonderland

A Poem by Abigale LeCavalier

Wonderland

In walking down
unexpected paths,
a sound song
of revelations.

And in the
silhouette of the sun,
transition,
from meaningful misfortune.

The knowing that
what falls between
concrete cracks,
is caught in the open hands,
of someone's
silent someday.

And so she wears
a Sunday dress,
but can not find
the shoes to match.

A willing full interpretation,
she has traded
the easy life,
to be Alice,
in Wonderland.
