Crisis

Crisis

A Poem by Abigale LeCavalier

Crisis

Transition,

endless moments

in the sun,

turning over

fallen leaves;

assumption,

life in a

steady supply.

Wishing moments

of freedom and liberty,

a lackluster beginning,

trepidation,

walking through life

with head in

open hands.

And sandaled feet.

Burning bright momentum,

crisis;

letting down the house,

pushing through

closed doors,

in an unconscious

manipulation

of truth.

Turning a walk in the park,

to a run in the rain.

This is great! I read it pretty fast, like it was supposed to be a fast read. I really like the last sentence,
"Turning a walk in the park,
to a run in the rain."
Great poem! :)
