Chaos Theory

Chaos Theory

A Poem by Abigale LeCavalier

Chaos Theory
Flaming out spectacularly
going down in a fit
of rage,
I pull out flowers
by their roots!

It's not a complement
you see,
it's a state of mind
on fire.

And I grind my teeth
until I taste blood,
keeping my hands free
from my heart,
baring down on the hourglass,
ripping pages
from my book.

Ripping pages from my book!

I look around my wasteland
breathing,
and I cant take it anymore!

All I ever wanted
was to drink up life,
and someone to sing me to sleep.

The anguish and pain that haunts your words is not dissimilar from those that torment my own wasteland.
Deeply moving poem, dear Abigail.

Damn... you touched a chord and the harmonies rose in a cloud of sparkling gnats of wished imaginings and ne're-to-be(s)...
