![]() Everything And Nothing At All...A Poem by Abigale LeCavalierEverything And Nothing at All I struggle with the heat and the razor, stuck in an ugly scream. Blistered bits of melancholy ripping through my skin, pasting poetry to the bone. And in them nothing at all. Prying an eye open for a bad dream, forced anxiety with afternoon tea. And I balk and I blink reaching for a hand, but failing. Falling. I hold tight the madness in my mind, it's all I've ever had, and it's everything to me. © 2015 Abigale LeCavalier |
