A Love like Morning

A Love like Morning

A Poem by Phantom Heart

The Morning

When the sun comes up
The sky greets it with vibrant hues
It warms the moon chilled air
Leaving it crisp and clean
The morning dew is quickly dried
The birds begin their song
Welcoming the new day

My Love

When a smile rises
From the corners of her mouth
She warms the sorrow laden soul
Leaving it whole and new
Tears are gently wiped away
She helped a mute boy sing
And welcome a new life

Woah.

This is a really beautiful poem.
It took my breath away. It's so well written and the way you correlated the morning and your love was awsome.

It reminds me of the poem 'Nothing Gold Can Stay' by Jack Frost, except this poem is about love rather than age.

Nevertheless, it's extremley well written.

XxStaySweet,
Rina
