Chapter one- Best Friend

Chapter one- Best Friend

A Chapter by Abby:)

Having a best friend is special. It means you found that one person who can understand you the most and knows you for all your faults, and decides to still stick around. But when your best friend is a guy does it change things? I met my best friend (DCG) in the 7th grade. Not gonna lie I hated him a first, but then I grew to like him more than a friend and now he is my right hand man. I feel like if I didn't have him around I would be a completely different person; he makes me a better person. But what happens when your parents don't like him? When they think he is someone who he is't? Should I say something or lay low for now since it's not doing any harm if they don't know. It's not like we are doing inappropriate things. He is my go to guy that I go to to see his opinion about those kinds of things. He is my other set of eyes, and him being a man can help me in a BIG way. My best friend (DCG) has seen me at my complete worse, and decided to not only stay with me as my best friend, but also help pick me up and put me back on my feet. I don't know if he knows what an impact he has on my life. DCG is a friend that I will have for a life time. He will not be a friend that will come and go. And even though we go to different high schools now we are still communicating and keeping each other evolved in our lives. As we grow and mature in high school I think I will fall more in love with my best friend. But not the passionate love that most fools think they have in high school, but the unbreakable love that is called true friendship.
