Vacancy

Vacancy

A Poem by Dig a Pony
"

I don't ever title anything I write...the majority of my titles are created for the soul purpose of identification when they are posted.

"
In this picture perfect scenery, we've cut out yet another piece
Still we call this home
This place where we live fast and die young
To become another illustration in the book of life
You're too young to say there is too much to overcome
Focus now
Look to what's ahead
Someone please save me, or turn the lights back on
You can't save yourself, but you can brace yourself
Could our lies become truths?
Relax
You're only knocking on death's door
Is there a vacancy?
There's always a vacancy
You're missing what they showed you
I told you to open your eyes, but you drowned in the darkness behind your lids
There isn't any time to be afraid
We're all moving for the sake of motion, but motion can't be your saving grace
They're waitng for you
Explain to me your reasoning, but no, there isn't time
Your piece of the scenery is being cut as we speak
This isn't the end of the road
(This is the end of the road)
