A turn from absolution

A turn from absolution

A Poem by Alex Roy
"

Turn from the "righteous",pave anew, discover, reap, live true.

"
The path of the "righteous",
Paved by saints.
The footprints dress in red,
The way is seen with ease.

To pave anew, a challenge,
blamed to be a cursed sin.
A dawn unveiled by the open third,
With it see the broadsword
And claim it yours.

All yours to bear.
Obstructions rendered none,
With agile skill, precision,
And be acquaint with every hum.

Paths will meet, they may collide.
Danger surges sevenfold at height.
The cliff is steep,
The bridge hath burnt.
Descend below the clouds,
into the dirt.

Within the gloom
I have seen light.
Five rays, three or one,
With each a step begun

I may not reach where I am due.
the whim! the dream!
reserved for you.
