This CourageA Poem by Aastha TyagiInspired by a song that is very close to my heart - Yeh Honsla - this is my attempt at translating it to English in the form of a poem. This poem is about never giving up and being strong.Relations, trust, wishes, beliefs Do not know anymore what they mean The world was thought to be in my fists When opened, only ashes were seen Why does this heart shriek Why does this faith seem so bleak But how can this courage bow down But how can this desire die down So what if the journey is tough So what if the shore cannot be seen So what if the heart wanders on its own The path might be covered in spikes The trudge still has to carry on The dusk might hide the sun from sight The dark night still has to die down The phase of sorrow will become the past Your courage will blossom at last The sun will again rise with a start Our hardships will be blessed upon The sunshine will pass under the shade Our almighty will lead us on The destination will be eventually embraced May the bravery reaches the sky May the boldness ever stays high May the belovedness never dies Because this courage will never down down Because this desire will never die down © 2014 Aastha TyagiAuthor's Note
