Sandy Tiles

A Poem by AaronWilson
"

Haunted by a past that follows where ever you go. Its not until you accept your actions, you will not be able to move on..

"
These thoughts engulf me like wild fire
Sanity is welcomed with much desire
Finding myself after questionable decisions
Looking into a mirror constantly asking questions
How I feel deep remorse for my mistakes
Travel the distance from lies to truth
Never believing the outcome
Constantly failing understanding the answers
Time stands still when you lose your way
Shadows of the past chase you away to a foreign place
Where you believe life will make sense
Intervention with love intended
This road a head leaves much to be said
Days gone, time lingering on
Blank stare at absolutely nothing
Tears, streaming like water
My demons have no heart
May I see, I struggle to be done
I cry as if I were a child
Helps me through another day
Hope of another year bringing its harvest
Bless the new beginnings
Life at times, has a firm grip
I begin to believe hope can be beautiful
