Your Smile

So I'm generally mesmerized or impressed most by a girl's smile and this girl that I wrote about in this poem is no exception. I won't mention any names but you can bet she's beautiful ;)

Memorable, mesmerizing
Encapturing but paralyzing
I catch myself fantasizing
About your smile.

Perfectly beautiful
Melodic and musical
Harmonic, unique it is so
Your smile

The way your eyes glisten
It could blind one's vision
And the way your teeth shine
And show the happiness divine
Represented every time
By the glee in thine eyne
Sadness never passes my mind when I see
Your smile

Like a Sun to the night
A mirror to the light
Reflects beauty so right
Your smile

Alleviates the pain
Keeps me relatively sane
Clears out the rain
Fears go away
Tears run astray
Forced to gaze upon
Your smile

Beauty is in the eye of he who beholds
But I was always told
Since I was a year old
That every girl is gold.
Blessed by the forces
Strong like the shell of a tortoise
I know this.

Your smile, the strength
The effect, the ripple
The longer the length
The more civil
We all become because
Your smile brings peace to our rush
Makes our complaints shushed.
Pillars of hate become dust.

All this happens so quickly
All of it stirring within me
My entire emotional entity
Encaptured with your melody.
Serenading; telling me to admire
The beautiful and brilliant fire
I've wondered at for awhile:
Your smile.
