Silver and Gold

Silver and Gold

A Poem by PhoenixSongWriter

Sliver lake,

Shining calm.

Sliver fish,

Swimming strong.

Golden fish,

Swim in the sea.

Golden birds,

Flying free.

Silver moon,

Shining bright,

Silver stars,

In the twinkling night.

Golden rays,

Of sunlight shine

On a golden flower,

Near a forest of pine.

Silver rain

Falls to the ground.

Sliver mist

Floats all around.

Golden fields

Wave with the breeze.

Golden grain,

Lying in sheaves.

Silver clouds,

Line the sky.

Silver birds,

See them fly.

Golden sand,

On desert dunes.

Golden words

From ancient runes.

Silver words

On a clean page,

Make silver music,

For a stage.

Golden sun,

With blazing light.

Golden truth,

Burning bright.
