Challengers

Challengers

A Poem by kimpetersen13kp

the word he used was bizarre
and I think about tennis ball
florescent yellow
and how I have no idea
how to convey desire in a scene
but that I want it so much
and there must be a manner
in which I can articulate
the way his nylon cut hand
fingers like the white lines
contouring the tennis ball
wrapped around my bare thighs
like Valcro courts
blistering brown beneath the sun
I think about his mouth
on my throat
and how he's compelled
to do anything I ask
that it's almost sickening
to say, Stop now
when he lays his head
in my lap
like a dog leaning
into its waterbowl
he obeys then
I want him to go on...
