Same attitude but different day

I'm over exaggerating on nothing
Speak my peace; Body in flames
Thought I was just coping
Called myself being smooth on waves
Not knowing it would not get me anywhere
A piece or two
Something to hold me over
Rejected by my own doing
Could not grant me one favor
I will not last long
Just wait till I'm gone again
Demonic by Destiny
Overseen by the enemy
Can not make the same moves
Got to run with it
Choosing to be humble for now
Rolling savages
Do not ask me how
Too calm is safe to bare

Once I lose it I'm back out

I ADORE this poem. The rhyming, the wording, the feeling of pretending everything is alright when in reality, it's the opposite. At least, that's what I get from it, and it seems each poem you add on here is better and better!
