SO CLOSE YET SO FAR

SO CLOSE YET SO FAR

A Poem by Aalaapanascribbles
"

This poem conveys how it feels when someone or something who or which is very close to your heart is far away from you.

"
SO CLOSE YET SO FAR

Adoring the moon’s beauty through a telescope so closely

Yet so far to play and feed carrots to the rabbits on it.

Bringing smiles on someone’s face through a phone call so closely

Yet so far to wipe their tears and give them a shoulder.

Countering night sky’s darkness through lighting a sky lantern so closely

Yet so far to lit the inner light within ourselves to counter life’s darkness.

And

Displaying digital disguise on the screens of social media so closely

Yet so far to accept the fact that it doesn't show us what we want to see.

Deep thinking reflecting in your poem of opposites. Just simply loved all the ”Yet so far…” lines. The deep contrasts offer such rich value to the far but real. Wishing you to see and be with all that your heart really yearns…! Thanks for a meaningful share , will like to read more of you @ Aalaapanascribbles
