A SORRY HEALS NOTHING BUTA Poem by AalaapanascribblesThis poem is all about what does a "sorry" hold. A sorry heals nothing but conveys prayers like...A SORRY HEALS NOTHING BUT, I wish someone could break open my skull And erase the whole chapter of hers from my indiscreet mind. I wish someone could break open my rib cage, So that the ocean of tears that my unworldly soul holds evaporates. I wish someone beside my deathbed could pray for me to attain salvation, So that there won't be any more lives left for me to trouble her in her next life. I hope the almighty hears all my truthful prayers, And prospers me with all the above I wished for, So that at the end of my life, it's me, Who can all alone remain as the most distrustful person in a beautiful life of hers. © 2024 AalaapanascribblesAuthor's Note
