Melodies of ErosionA Poem by Jim_FIts unavoidableThe diamond and gold desert wind rips through the not so everlasting pyramids. It sings a harmonious tune. If you listen really hard you can hear it whisper through the air and sometimes howl while its conversing with the millions of stars and the beautiful bright moon.
The wondrous white and blue snow tipped glacier slowly tears through the unrelenting solid earth. It creates a lively paradise of lush forests, rivers, streams, sanctuaries and lakes. Frozen masses and lands of their own. Giant moving trail of mountains, descending and creating resplendence as it passes and leaves even more in its wake.
The mystical waterfall tactfully torrents and rushes over the cliff and makes an amazing scene of our natures power and might. The rocks and river bed alone, can't handle the river waters. Its persistent fluid sight is harder than any solid stone.
The salt from the calm expansive sea waves slowly rusts and deteriorates the giant and unshakable man made steal ships. It says hello as it waves to the buildings, beaches, people and streets before the calm gets angry and struggles for dominance and space. The power of the sea tears through its short lived acquaintances, showing no mercy as the water of wealth and riches destroys all in its wake as it pushes and whips.
The endless age of the time that gives the opportunity for hope made and hope destroyed. It nurtures and reveals secrets around every new turn that you wander to and take. A lost little lamb born in to an endless space of eternity. Born and raised. Praised and despised. Those before us, have been created, existed, learned, went through trials, loved, lost, mourned, taught, persisted and died. Beautiful as she is, she's also delicate, ugly, passionate, ruthless and will forever be. There is no escape, no where to go, no where to hide. So accept her unavoidable compulsions of age and embrace her, in all of her glory. © 2016 Jim_FReviews
