A poem

By: Muhammad Moosa

A dark room has surrounded me.

I stumble and fall, yet I cannot see.

I try and toil, yet I cannot find a Light.

Slowly, I accept my fate.

I cannot be guided,

I cannot be motivated.

“Is there no hope left?” I plead.

I have waited for a response.

But I only hear my mocking voice.

I have lost my life,

for there is nothing left for me.

Then at my darkest hour.

When I stumble like a fool in the darkness.

I can finally see the Light.

It was in front of me.

Yet I chose to ignore it.

When I finally accepted this Light,

It had illuminated the way with its transcending presence.

I had hope.

I had guidance.

I had a destination.

I can see,

Oh, thank you!

I can finally see!

I can see

You

You are a amazing 11 year old writer. You write with a experience pen. Sometime we are blinded to the people who are near and who we need.

A wise person see the light and find peace and comfort in it. Thank you for the excellent poetry.
