Dollar a Day

Dollar a Day

A Poem by AZ SARB
"

surrealism

"
the thought emerges,
like Athena from Zeus---
fully formed and armed

the truth bleeds out
liquids still warm,
warmer still, ever more
truth bled lies beneach
the scorched earth loved

crawling on my back
soldier foot prints
heavier still

heavier still,
heavier still,
these weighty words burn like hot rails
rushed upon by yonder train

and me thee oracle
with graffitti'd letters
facing wind
and all these traiiling fetters
oh flock of birds so thinn'd

separated like particles
bloomed still (c/s)ell(s)
what did you buy today?
$100? $200 or three?

(c/s)ell me your S(e)oul
a dollar a day.
