Silence's VictimA Poem by JoyiA poem about regrets. (Sorry, I'm really bad at descriptions)She stayed awake in her bed, Overcome by emotions, And a million thoughts circling through her head. The darkness swallowed her whole, Leaving no room for even an ounce of light To encapsulate her soul. The willow tree called for her, It’s leaves rustling in the evening wind, But in her mind, all was a blur. Regrets and sorrow captivated her mind So much that everything ached. Her vision blurred, Hearing drowned, And existence disappeared, Leaving no trace behind. The frustrations kept her mind a prisoner In the jail that was her life. © 2018 JoyiAuthor's Note
