The freedom to not face the Consequences.

 

News,

I look around, I see the news,

Look,

12 people shot, 20 kids shot,

Shot,

A white man takes a life,

Crazy,

This must be the reason, he’s crazy,

Why,

Why else would he do such a thing?

Plea,

One plea for insanity and you are free,

Free from the consequences,

Consequences.

Just confused with humanity. Not my best work wanted to try writing about current issues and this is what came out. Let me know what you think!

Maybe if society didn't try so hard to label the deranged...one could function better on a bad day. Mondays for example...isn't that the number one day of the week for heart-attacks to happen? Stress...my god the stress that life burdens upon us...if only we could find a way to ask for help without looking "weak" maybe then these people would'nt feel such a need to fire away!
