A Day Of Change

A Day Of Change

A Poem by AWickedMoon

I do not need your name; I don’t even want your number,

But take my hand and walk awhile,

Teach me of your culture and I will teach you mine,

Let’s talk for a while,

About what we think is right and what we think it wrong,

After we leave lets ponder for a while,

To see how much a world can change, from just one small talk a day.

This is a great premise. Unfortunately, I don't know if there would be a whole lot of listening. Talking is one thing. Everybody wants to talk. The problem lies in the listening...we have a listening problem. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.

Isn't it crazy how talking to someone about something can make a person look at life in a whole new light. It's things like this that amaze me most. It feels great when you can impact a persons way of doing things. Good write!!! Thank you for sharing, yours truely Danielle

It has quite a nice message rooted on universality. Not an everyday topic here which just says it's a unique work! :)

Thank you. :)
little by little, step by step, you could change the mass of "common" people but the governments are like a totally separate identity that does not care to what its populace thinks

I like to think that words can change the way we look at things, and that a strong conversation can indeed change the world. Even foreign words, in a different language, can travel beyond cultures and borders, and reach a new understanding, and make us think for a while... A great read, thanks for sharing!

Thank you again. :)
This is fantastic! I wonder what the world would be like if we all could have civil talks with one another without out jumping into defense :)
